JoISEL: Journal of Islamic Education and Learning applies an open access policy using the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. The full license text can be accessed at: creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0

This license allows anyone to read, download, copy, share, print, adapt, and reuse published articles (including for commercial purposes), while giving appropriate attribution to the author and the journal. Derivative works from JoISEL articles may be distributed under any license, without being required to use the same license as the original.

1. Author Copyright

Copyright to every published article remains with the author. Authors retain the moral and intellectual rights to their published scholarly work.

2. Publishing Rights

By submitting and agreeing to the publication of an article, the author grants JoISEL: Journal of Islamic Education and Learning a non-exclusive right to:

1Publish the article as the first publication.
2Edit, format, archive, and distribute the article in both print and electronic form.
3Store the article in various databases, repositories, and international indexing systems.
4Make the article openly available through the journal's website and other publication media.

3. Author Rights After Publication

Authors have the right to:

1Store the article in an institutional repository or personal repository.
2Share the article through a personal website, academic social media, or other scholarly platforms.
3Reuse the article for educational activities, research, seminars, books, or other scholarly works, while stating that the article was first published in JoISEL: Journal of Islamic Education and Learning.

4. User Rights

Users are permitted to:

1Read and download the article freely.
2Copy, distribute, and share the article.
3Adapt, build upon, or reuse the article (including for commercial purposes) in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license terms.
4Use the article for educational, research, or scholarly development purposes.

Subject to the following attribution requirements:

1Giving appropriate credit to the author.
2Citing JoISEL: Journal of Islamic Education and Learning as the first publication.
3Providing a link to the CC BY 4.0 license.
4Indicating if changes were made to the original work.

5. Originality and Author Responsibility

Authors guarantee that the submitted article is an original scholarly work, has not been previously published, is not currently under review at another journal, and does not infringe upon the copyright or intellectual property rights of any party. Further details regarding author ethical responsibilities, including the handling of suspected plagiarism, fabrication, or data manipulation, are set out on JoISEL's Publication Ethics page. Should such a violation be discovered at a later date, the author bears full responsibility for any resulting legal and academic consequences.

6. Publication Fees

JoISEL currently does not charge any fees whatsoever to authors, whether at the manuscript submission stage or the publication stage. Further details regarding the publication fee policy are set out on JoISEL's Open Access Policy page.
