Screening for Plagiarism
JoISEL: Journal of Islamic Education and Learning upholds academic integrity throughout the publication process, referring to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript meets high academic standards and is an original work.

Manuscripts that exceed the established thresholds, or are found to contain plagiarism in part or in whole, will be rejected at any stage of the editorial process. The journal reserves the right to take further action in accordance with scientific publication ethics standards, including but not limited to retraction if plagiarism is discovered after an article has been published, as set out on JoISEL's Publication Ethics page.
4. Clarification Mechanism
Authors who object to or wish to clarify the results of the similarity check (for example, where the similarity arises from standard technical terminology, quotations from the Qur'an/Hadith, or common phrases within a particular field of study) may submit a written clarification to the editorial team for further review before a final decision is made.
