Publication Ethics
1. Author Ethics
Manuscript originality: Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under review by another journal.
Anti plagiarism: Authors are prohibited from copying or paraphrasing others’ work in part or in full without proper citation in accordance with academic ethical standards.
Data transparency: Authors must present research data honestly, accurately, and transparently to allow verification by other researchers or institutions.
Author contribution: All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research process and the writing of the article.
2. Editor Ethics
Fairness and objectivity: Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly and objectively, based on their relevance to the scope of MAPAN journal, regardless of the authors’ race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional affiliation.
Confidentiality: Editors are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and must not disclose their contents to unauthorized parties.
Prohibition of manuscript misuse: Editors are not allowed to use unpublished materials contained in the submitted manuscript for personal or institutional benefit.
3. Reviewer Ethics
Objectivity and scientific argumentation: Reviewers must provide assessments that are honest, fair, and objective, supported by scientific reasoning and evidence.
Confidentiality: Appointed reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript under review and are not permitted to share its content with others.
Prohibition of manuscript misuse: Reviewers are strictly prohibited from using any part of the manuscript for personal advantage or publishing it under their own name.
