Author Guidelines
MAPAN: Journal of Educational Management and Analysis
1. Scope
MAPAN accepts scholarly manuscripts relevant to the fields of Islamic law and sharia economics, including: conceptual ideas or critical perspectives, literature reviews, empirical research findings, and data-based policy or applied approaches.
2. Manuscript Type and Language
Manuscripts should be written in proper Indonesian or English. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of language, terminology, and academic writing style.
3. Originality and Ethics
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. All citations and references must adhere to academic ethical standards. This journal uses plagiarism checking tools (maximum 25% total similarity allowed).
4. Writing Format
Manuscripts must use the official MAPAN template (.doc/.docx). Length should range from 4,000 to 7,000 words excluding references and appendices. Margins: 3 cm on all sides, spacing 1.5, Cambria 12 pt font. The general structure includes: Title, Author(s) and affiliation, Abstract and keywords (both in Indonesian and English), Introduction, Literature review (optional), Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References.
5. Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts must be written in both Indonesian and English, each up to 200 words. They should include: objectives, methods, findings, and 3–5 keywords.
6. Citation Style and References
MAPAN uses the American Psychological Association (APA 7th Edition) citation style. References must include at least 15 primary sources (80% from academic journals within the last 10 years). Authors must use a reference manager such as Mendeley, Zotero, or similar tools.
7. Submission and Review Process
Authors must register and log in via the Open Journal System (OJS) on the official JHIES website. Manuscripts go through the following stages: Initial editorial check, Peer review by experts (double-blind), Revision and proofreading, Online and/or print publication.
8. Publication Fee
MAPAN does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC). There are no publication fees for authors.
9. Copyright and Licensing
Accepted articles will have their copyrights transferred to JHIES. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
